The Children's Salt Room is co equal with the adult room: its own space, its own salt floor, its own toys. Families book it as often as adults book the quiet room, and siblings are priced for it.
Our story
A women owned salt room in Citrus Park.
Two salt rooms, a full spectrum infrared sauna, and a front desk that knows your name, on Gunn Highway since 2023.
Why this room exists
Somewhere to put the day down.
“Salt Room Citrus Park was created to be a safe, calming space for healing, connection, and community.”
Megan Motzenbecker opened the studio in 2023 with a plain idea and no interest in dressing it up: most people in Tampa are running at full speed, and there is almost nowhere within five minutes of home to simply stop.
“We believe wellness should feel peaceful, simple, and accessible.” That belief is why there is no membership hard sell at the desk, why the intro offer is two sessions rather than a contract, and why the price you see on this site is the price in the booking system.
What she set out to build was “a place to slow down, breathe deeper, and truly reset”, which is still, three years on, the whole brief.
What is different here
Three things we did on purpose.
None of these are standard for a salt studio. All three are the reason people drive past closer options to get here.
Salt and sauna under one roof
Most salt studios stop at salt. Ours pairs the rooms with a full spectrum infrared sauna, chromotherapy included at no extra cost, which is why the Reset packages are built as salt and sauna rather than either one alone.
Community programming, not just bookings
Story Time Saturday, the Mom & Mini Afternoon Reset, and Moms Night Out at $10 a head exist because a wellness studio in a neighbourhood should give the neighbourhood a reason to turn up.

Megan owns and runs the studio. She built the room she wanted for her own family first, which is why the children's room came before anything decorative, and why the community sessions are priced closer to free than to premium.
